Our primary focus is to be your information technology partner. If you have an info-tech staff, we work smoothly with them to build a site that fits your current technology and train them in CMS if necessary. If you don't have an IT staff, we can act as an info-tech consultant, either for your primary business technology, or within a site-building project.
In either case, building a site that doesn't match your marketing, workflow, staff or operations is useless. A useful site is one that matches your business or organization and brings in more revenue and customers, and provides additional services that reduce your overhead and administrative costs, not add to them.
Opstreams has several successful engagements with small to mid-size businesses on matching technology and cost to the business model and objectives. Technology only pays off if its pulling in the same direction as the business. These engagements are typically one day to three months in length, and pay back their investment many times over. Most SMEs are savvy enough to explain the latest hot phrases from the technology world, but not savvy enough to undertand their context, whether they're appropriate, or how or where to use them. In one case, a company was using a popular content-management system to manage interactive communications and in another case, a local business was using Excel spreadsheets to make and track appointments and everything else from employee lists to financials. In both cases, we were able to model the cost and labor savings from automation, refining their inefficient process, and finding the most affordable vendors and software products to meet their requirements. A win-win all around.
As experts in dynamical systems modeling and creating powerful business solutions, Opstreams is often called upon to evaluate process and cost efficiencies and propose new methods and policies to improve operations and achieve greater ROI. A recent engagement has us partnering with psychiatrists and financial trading companies to develop a more effective (quality and cost) treatment for negative compulsive behavior. We pull a multititude of scenarios from within the sphere of influence, assist in the creation of valid surveys, and create the real-time feedback loop models and simulations to test program effectiveness, thus shortening the time to implementation and giving evidence to the most effective incentives, disincentives, and policies.
We were engaged by an expanding but low-key multi-use facility to understand new media and how best to use social marketing to find new customers. Our expertise in graphic design, public relations, new media and social networking came together in a comprehensive program to get the brand identity out to a much wider market, with positive results. This solution involved logo and tagline development, branding, e-newsletter list management, analytics, write-once publish-many content development, mobile and tablet layouts, interactive discussions/commenting/rating, social bookmarking, effective use of video and images, subscription feeds, and targeted campaigns.
These social media campaigns are a major component of our Full-Web Marketing programs.
